Expensive commercial software for one feature.

There's a category of tools — BIM or CAD plugins in particular — that cost €1,500/year for one feature an internal team uses three hours a week.

For those cases, it makes sense to build the minimal equivalent. No subscriptions, no external dependencies — the tool runs locally or on the hosting the company already has.

OTL Composer plugin for Revit — OTL classification applied inside Revit, without leaving the model.

A plugin that applies the Flemish OTL standard directly to the elements of the Revit model. It automatically assigns the type identifiers, validates attributes against the data model and exports JSON-LD compliant with the official specification. What used to be manual cataloguing now happens during modelling.
